CALCINATOR line, issued from 8 years development and several patents, was especially designed for recycling mineral sludges into lightweight aggregates.

The IDCO microwave technhology is the only technology allowing recycling washing quarry sludge siliceous as well as calcareous. Expanded clay balls are actually manufactured from green clays specifically extracted in a quarry.

Lightweight aggregates markets are hydroponics (above-ground cultivation), decoration (garden) and especially lightweight concrete and light prefabricated because lightweight aggregates (expanded clay) are an answer for the new RT2012 regulation.

IDCO microwave technology is also the only one that allows the industrial synthesis of lightweight geopolymer balls from aluminous sludge (red sludge).

The CALCINATOR 200, developed by IDCO, has 14 years of experience in high temperature microwave treatment

It is equipped with adjustable mixing IDCO Technology (tilt and rotation speed) for a very homogeneous heat.
